The SDSU men’s and women’s basketball teams will be heading to Las Vegas for the 2011 Conoco Mountain West Conference championships next month and SDSU journalism junior Josh Hoffman might be joining them.
Hoffman is one of four finalists for the Ultimate Fan Reporter Challenge, a video submission competition sponsored by the MWC and its new YouTube page. Now it is up to the fans to determine who will win the grand prize — the chance to go behind the scenes at the conference tournament and interview coaches and players for the MWC’s website and YouTube page.

Votes will be accepted until Feb. 20 at 11 p.m. PT. The winner will be announced on TheMWC.com and via the conference’s social media platforms. The MWC tournaments begin on March 8.
