LED Anniversary III looks to be mind-blowing

LED Anniversary III looks to be mind-blowing

Can you believe it? LED is turning three years old. On Sunday, Feb. 16, San Diego’s premiere promoter of the hottest artists in EDM is throwing the biggest party of the year.  And who would have guessed that they’re bringing some of their friends to celebrate with.

Firebeatz is one of the can’t-miss artists for LED Anniversary III. With an uncompromising intensity when it comes to electro, their one-of-a-kind “complextro” sound is bound to infect you and make you move. Climbing through the charts throughout 2013, Firebeatz not only has a catalogue full of singles and remixes, but is collaborating with the likes of Martin Garrix and Schella and looks for a dominating takeover in 2014.

With his first EP, “Stand Up,” finally out, Henry Fong is breaking into his own and making a name for himself in the crowded waters of electronic music. Backing up the likes of mega duo, Dada Life, Henry Fong has also been billed for this year’s Ultra Music Festival 2014. A sign of things to come, Fong has mastered the art of mash-ups and is ready to make it big this year.

Ummet Ozcan has stepped into the progressive/electro house game as of late, shifting away from his techhouse roots. Ozcan has climbed the charts via his collaboration with Aussie sister group Nervo on their single “Revolution.” Delivering pulse-pounding bass coupled with deep-seeded melodies, Ozcan’s singles have been staples at various 2013 festivals, and he’s ready to bring the party to San Diego.

Hailing from our neighbor up north, Adventure Club brings the hottest electro fresh from Canada. Delivering hard-hitting bass, Adventure Club has found its own path in EDM through the likes of heavy electro beats and dubstep bass lines. Blending together uplifting melodies and distorted synths, Adventure Club is breaking down doors in the EDM genre. Known for their production-heavy shows, concertgoers will be in for a treat.

Dannic, the highly prodigious DJ and producer from Breda, Netherlands–the same hometown as both Tiësto and Hardwell–has already achieved a great deal since exploding onto the scene. Under the mentorship and support of Hardwell and his record label, Dannic has seen a catapult in fame, even landing him No. 74 in DJ Mag’s coveted Top 100 DJs Poll.

Known back in the day for being at the forefront of “hardstyle,” Showtek surged back into the spotlight in 2012 and continued its success into complete domination of the EDM world by 2013. With single after single under the belt, Showtek has even opened up its own record label, Skink, and is looking to further promote the high-octane electro they’re known for. Keeping their hardstyle roots alive, Showtek bring an absurd amount of energy to every live set and is one of the can’t-miss acts of LED Anniversary III.

LED Anniversary III has six unique artists all ready to melt your face this weekend. Bringing a different sound with every set, each artist deserves its own spotlight. Come out and celebrate with us as LED turns three, and prepare for a night you’ll never forget.
