DA Style: CollegeFashionista is back!

Style Sunday on thedailyazec.com just got that much better with the return of  CollegeFashionista — the photo blog showing off student style here at San Diego State.

CollegeFashionista.com is a global site that chronicles the style choices of students on campuses just about everywhere. Each day a chic set of bloggers take to the streets to find the creme of the fashion crop.

The site came about after a realization by its founder, Amy Levin.

“From my time abroad and summers interning in Los Angeles and Chicago as well as extensive international traveling, I saw how fashion was evolving and the sidewalk was quickly being transformed into the latest version of the runway, ”  Levin said.  “The new age models were real individuals with unique voices and perspectives on style.”

Levin’s theory quickly became a full-fledged idea and soon CF was on the map.

Some readers may remember Levin from our last introduction at the start of the spring semester. However, for those new to the CF blog, and readers just joining us this semester, here’s your chance to get better acquainted with the woman behind it.

We sat down with Levin for a quick chat on everything from student style here at State, to news and trends from the spring 2012 runways.

The Daily Aztec: So to begin, can you tell us a bit about Fashionista?
