Aztecs to watch: SDSU returns to action after splitting a doubleheader last Wednesday against San Jose State. When Adrienne Camacho stole second base in the fourth inning of the first game against SJSU, the Aztecs broke the school record for stolen bases (77) in one season. First baseman Erryn Gutjahr got her bat going after collecting four hits against the Spartans, including two home runs. On the mound, Aimee Dine shined last week, picking up her third win of the season when she shut out SJSU 3-0. Dine has also compiled an impressive 1.87 ERA on the year.
49ers to watch: CSULB is led by catcher Jeanie Martinez. She leads the 49ers with a .320 average and 41 hits. First baseman Amanda Adams also has made big contributions at the plate and leads the team with 14 doubles and 21 RBIs. On the mound, CSULB turns to staff ace Amy Miner, who is 12-5 this year with a 1.09 ERA.
