Air Force (3-0, 2-0 Mountain West Conference) @ BYU (1-2), 1 p.m. – AFA was the No. 7 MWC team in the preseason, but is atop the league after three weeks. Look for things to change on the road against the Cougars, who are off to a tough start despite solid play.

Ohio 30, Wyoming 17

Wyoming (2-1) @ Ohio (2-1), 3 p.m. – Get ready for a MWC-Mid-American Conference showdown! The Bobcats lost to Virginia Tech last week, but have played well. The Cowboys battled, but lost to Boise State and will struggle again.

Houston 27,

Colorado State 14

Colorado State (0-2) @ Houston (1-1), 3:30 p.m. – If the MAC isn’t exciting enough, then hopefully you’ll enjoy Conference USA. The Cougars aren’t great, but the Rams might be even worse.

New Mexico 42,

Sacramento State 20

Sacramento State (0-2) @ New Mexico (2-1), 6 p.m. – Man, the awesome match-ups just keep coming with this Big Sky Conference-MWC thriller. The Hornets lost to Division I-AA Portland State last week and won’t fair any better against the Lobos.

Utah 30, UNLV 13

Utah (1-2, 0-1) @ UNLV (1-2), 7 p.m. – The Utes smashed UCLA last week and roll in to Las Vegas with momentum on their side. The Rebels hung close to Wisconsin two weeks ago, but a 35-point loss to Hawaii brought them back to reality.

TCU 45,

Southern Methodist 20

Southern Methodist (1-2) @ TCU (1-2, 0-1), 7:30 p.m. – Hopes of national respect are gone for the Horned Frogs following a loss to Air Force. TCU will wallop the Mustangs in an effort to right its terribly off-path ship.
