This week, the iPad Mini and the Iron Man 3 trailer were unveiled. After much anticipation, Apple introduced the iPad Mini. Meanwhile, Marvel revealed the trailer for Iron Man 3, creating great excitement.
A new Apple product will soon be on the market.
The smaller iPad has a screen that measures 7.9 inches diagonally, making its surface area significantly smaller than that of a 9.7-inch iPad.
The lowest priced iPad Mini will start at $329, with pre-orders beginning Friday Oct. 26.
With the addition of the new product, many on twitter poked fun at the resemblance of the iPad Mini to other Apple products:
Dave Weasel (@DaveWeasel): I’ve had an iPad mini since the iPod touch came out
Guy Williams (@guywilliamsguy): Is it an iPad mini or an iPhone large?
John Caparulo (@JohnCaparulo): I remember when the iPad Mini was just called an iPod.
Apple also unveiled a new MacBook Pro, iMac and iPad 4.
Iron Man 3
Marvel has released the first trailer for Iron Man 3.
“Nothing has been the same since New York,” Stark says, referring to the events of “The Avengers.”
The trailer is much darker than previous ones. There is no sign of Stark’s humor.
“Honestly, there’s a hundred people that want to kill me,” says Stark. “I hope I can protect the one thing I can’t live without.”
In the trailer’s climax, Stark’s ocean side home is being annihilated as he sinks in the depth of the ocean.
The trailer sparked great curiosity as many spotted (at the 53 second mark) the film’s villain, Mandarin, with a tattoo on the back of his head that resembles a Captain American shield.
According to Marvel’s website, “As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?”
Iron Man 3 will hit theaters May 3.
