IDGAF with Wolfgang Gartner

Fluxx’s IDGAF Thursday nights continue as the one and only Wolfgang Gartner bares his fangs for all club-goers to see this Thursday, Feb. 20. Joseph Youngman, otherwise known as Wolfgang Gartner, has been a cornerstone for modern age progressive-electro house. Wolfgang Gartner has stuck to his roots in the wake of the “Big Room House” movement that has been sweeping the EDM nation. That notion stays true, as Wolfgang Gartner’s first release of the new year, “Piranha,” is a refreshing sound absent in electronic music as of late.

Wolfgang Gartner dominated electronic music back in 2011 and 2012, and has since been a steady contributor to the genre. As of late, he has taken a step back and focused on more intimate crowds and musical integrity, rather than conforming to the “festival banger” sets that have taken over in 2013. And musical integrity is what is most important to the American Producer/DJ, as he poignantly put it.

“I have to make something that’s never been made before; have to make the best thing that I’ve ever done in my life – otherwise it gets stagnant or worse” Gartner said in his Facebook bio.

Wolfgang Gartner has taken that statement and applied it to a large scope of musical range and managing his own record label, Kindergarten Recordings. He knows a thing or two about making a hit record – he’s had eight songs claim the No. 1 spot on Beatport’s Top 10 chart, and one Grammy nomination under his belt. He’s done it all, from the club shows to the sold out festivals; from the singles and EPs, to the record-breaking albums, Wolfgang Gartner has been killing the EDM scene ever since he first stepped into the game back in 2007.

This is another can’t-miss show from LED and Fluxx’s insane IDGAF concert series, so come out and spend your Thursday night with some of EDM’s best artists.
