SDSU crime and incident report: Domestic violence, vandalism

Domestic violence

A case of domestic violence was reported near the San Diego State trolley station and bus stop on Dec. 1, shortly before 11 p.m.

The victim’s boyfriend threw a duffel bag at her, then fled the scene.

The woman didn’t sustain any injuries, SDSU Police Cpl. Mark Peterson said.

Police filed a report but were not able to find the suspect.

Vandalism

A broken window was reported at the Zapotec Residence Hall on Dec. 3 after 9 p.m.

When SDSU Police arrived, they determined a baseball was thrown through the window by an unknown person.

A report of the incident was written up by police, Peterson said.

Suspicious circumstances

SDSU Police received a report of a man pointing a gun to his head on the pedestrian bridge by the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union on Friday night, Dec. 4.

The person who alerted the police wasn’t certain there was a gun, according to SDSU Police.

Police were not able to locate the subject. No other related injuries or incidents were reported that night.
