Kyler McPhillips was born and raised in San Diego, California. He previously attended Grossmont College, where he briefly wrote for The Summit, the local college news team. Currently, he is a senior majoring in Journalism Media Studies and writes for the Daily Aztec. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, watching Netflix, and baseball. He dreams of one day covering a professional sports team.
