Aztecs trail Runnin Rebels 29-23 at halftime

University of Nevada, Las Vegas (18-14, 8-10 Mountain West) is outshooting San Diego State (24-7, 14-4 MW) 55 percent to 27 percent.

It’s out-rebounding the Aztecs 16-10.

It’s outscoring the Aztecs 18-6 in the paint.

Yet somehow SDSU just trails 29-23 heading into halftime of its first game at the 2015 MW Tournament.

SDSU is staying alive in this one thanks to its performance from the free-throw line, where it’s gone 9-10.

Senior guard Aqeel Quinn and junior forward Angelo Chol are leading the Aztecs with  six points apiece.
