U.S. Capitol had lockdown after shooting

About a dozen gunshots were fired outside the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. around 2 p.m., according to Associated Press. Following a car police chase that ended outside the building, the female suspect reportedly attempted to ram into the gate of the White House. Police said the suspect is in custody and her condition is not disclosed. Police also said the shooting is an isolated incident, not terrorism. A lockdown on Capitol was lifted an hour ago.
