The San Diego State University Aztecs defeated the University of New Mexico Lobos 35-30 behind junior running back Adam Muema’s dominant rushing effort. Muema finished the game with 233 yards on 27 carries with three touchdowns.
Junior quarterback Quinn Kaehler completed 16 of 21 pass attempts for 201 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Ezell Ruffin also had an impressive outing, catching seven passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns.
