Dear Dawne Brooks, editor in chief of The Daily Aztec:

I trust you did not read the Viewpoint article in the April 22, 1997, issue, “Morality is the enemy of good sex” (by John Walters). It must have slipped by you.

I realize that The Daily Aztec is aimed toward the younger students at SDSU, but why should your paper condone such irresponsible, not to mention unhealthy, behavior? Although I rarely look at The Aztec, I have been informed that this is typical. This is sad, very sad.

Is there anything you can do, Dawne, to uphold your position of responsibility and edit out what’s not fit to print? I’m going to get Stephen Weber’s opinion on this issue.

Any way you want to look at it, “Morality is the enemy of good sex” went too far.
