A female non-student says she was sexually assaulted Wednesday inAdams Humanities.
According to police reports, the victim was posting fliers in thenorthwest corner of the building at about 2 p.m. when a man grabbedher from behind and touched her breasts and crotch. The victim pushedthe suspect away.
When she turned, she saw two more males in the hallway laughing.
The victim reported she then attempted to walk toward the Open AirTheatre, but one of the men pushed her back into the hallway andanother blocked the other exit with his body.
The first suspect then grabbed her again. He held her by the waistand turned her toward him.
The victim pushed again and kicked him in the leg. The suspectfell to the ground. The two other men began to laugh and the victimran away.
The first suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 21 yearsold, 5 feet 11 inches, 170 to 180 pounds with a shaved head, goatee,dirty blond hair, brown eyes and as wearing a red T-shirt with awhite circle logo on it and blue jeans.
The second suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 21 yearsold, 5 feet 11 inches, 180 to 200 pounds with a muscular build, blueeyes, clean shaven wearing a gray beanie, white T-shirt and bluejeans.
The third suspect is described as a Latino male, 20 to 21 yearsold, 6 feet tall, 170 to 175 pounds, a lanky build, a military stylehaircut, unshaven and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and khakicargo-style shorts.

Student’s purse stolen
A female San Diego State student was the victim of a strong-armrobbery March 8 near Nasatir Hall.
According to reports, the victim was reading on a concrete benchat the southeast corner of the building when an unknown male pushedher from behind and grabbed her purse, which was sitting on her knee.
The suspect then ran west, toward the stairs by Storm Hall. Hedropped the victim’s purse about 30 feet from the scene of the crime.
The victim retrieved the purse, but the wallet was taken. Variousforms of identification, credit cards and $6 were stolen.
University Police are looking for witnesses in this case.

Police investigate credit cardbusiness
University Police are investigating a potential case of fraudrelated to two men who were soliciting credit card applications nearcampus.
Officers responded to a report Wednesday of two males targetingfemales and trying to coerce them into filling out credit cardapplications. According to reports, the men were only asking women tofill out the forms and seemed to get close and touch the women whenspeaking to them.
Officers detained the two men and asked for identification. Arecord check on one of the men showed he had not given his real nameor identification. The man was cited for possession of a fake ID andarrested for attempt to evade process of the court by giving officersfalse information.
When searching the men, officers found several student ID cardsfrom other colleges and credit card applications that only hadwomen’s signatures on them.
University Police are investigating the case.
Officials said students should be wary of people who aggressivelysolicit credit cards and to never give personal information to astranger because that person may not truly represent the company heclaims to work for.
