The hip-hop and Latin-funk group 40 Watt Hype will perform as part of the Concert Nooner Series.

Friday:

Love Your Body Day

Noon to 6 p.m., Aztec Center

The National Organization for Women at San Diego State University is providing a day to promote positive body image for the diverse group of women on campus.

Kimberly Dark, a “stand-up storyteller,” will kickoff the day. Students and community members are invited to attend the free event.

Rock Church Good Friday service

7 p.m., Cox Arena

This year’s event is titled “Unveiled.”

Pastor Miles McPherson will direct the service. Music artists Starfield and Something Like Silas will present a free concert following the service.

This event is free and open to the public.
