The San Diego State men’s basketball team wasn’t sure how far it would fall in the national rankings after its disappointing loss to BYU on Saturday.
Yesterday morning, SDSU found out its slide down the polls wasn’t too far.
The Aztecs fell from No. 6 in The Associated Press Poll to No. 9. In the Coaches Poll, they fell from No. 4 to No. 9.
BYU, meanwhile, jumped up to No. 3 in both polls and received five first-place votes in the AP Poll.
Ohio State moved to No. 1 in both polls. Kansas, BYU, Duke and Pittsburgh rounded out the Top Five in both polls.
SDSU will try to rebound tonight against Wyoming. The Aztecs will tip-off with the Cowboys at 7 p.m. in Laramie, Wyoming.
