Want a chance to discover theuniverse?

On Nov. 17, the College of Sciences and the College of Engineeringwill host their annual Inner Space/Outer Space Exhibition and OpenHouse.

The event allows students, amateur scientists and families achance to see and use the most modern scientific tools, includingelectron microscopes, telescopes and supercomputers.

Scientists and students within the colleges will help participantsuse the equipment to see the universe, ranging from microscopic partsof a mammalian cell to satellite images of Earth and worlds beyond.

“Inner Space/Outer Space” was started as part of the generaloutreach program to the community. The program seeks to give people abetter understanding of how science works.

The “Inner Space/Outer Space” Exhibition and Open House will beheld from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be signs to direct visitors tothe exhibition sites on campus.
