DA STYLE: Meet the bloggers behind College Fashionista

“Life is in the details. Style accordingly", says fashion writer Sarah Weinberg.

San Diego has a lot going for it, the views, the people and most of all the weather, though it’s not always a stylish person’s best friend.

Braving the cold weather in the morning, then keeping it cool during the midday heat, are the plenty of SDSU students who take what their wearing just as seriously as they do their next midterm.

Venice Fahey dreams of one day owning the content spread on the pages of Vogue.

Our new blog, College Fashionista, is going to catch it all, every skirt, shoe, suit, bag – all of it top to bottom. Writing for the blog are Venice Fahey and Sarah Weinberg, both students here at state, and while you can take my word for it, these two know how to dress, here’s a bit about them as style writers and students.

Venice is currently in her third year here at San Diego State working towards her major in Journalism/Public Relations. She finds fashion to be one of the most expressive channels for creativity and gets giddy with excitement upon reading the numerous magazines she flips through in her spare time while she should be doing homework. Armed with a camera and notepad, she calls upon those who share a passion for fashion and can’t wait to find all eligible fashionistas to show off San Diego States eclectic style!

Sarah is currently in her junior year, majoring in Liberal Studies and minoring in Journalism. She’s always adored fashion and realizes she never really outgrew the playing dress-up phase. After all, here she is in college still playing. Sarah finds the variety of trends being explored on campus each day so interesting and can’t wait to share all of them with you every week. She hopes you enjoy and always remember to style on!

Be sure to be here first thing tomorrow morning when College Fashionitsa, brought to you by Collegefashionista.com, goes live.
