The Daily Aztec “Today” column lists on-campus as well as off-campus events as a service to the San Diego State University students, faculty, staff and community.

Campus clubs, organizations, departments and local community groups may submit written entries to The Daily Aztec city desk in the basement of the Business Administration and Mathematics building, Room 2. Entries may be faxed to 594-7277, attn: City Desk. Requests will not be taken over the phone.

Entries must contain the full name of the club, organization or group, a brief description of the event or service, time, date, full address of the location, event fee, if applicable, and a telephone number for readers requesting more information.

Submissions are published on a space-available, first-come, first-served basis. The Daily Aztec reserves the right to turn down entries. All submissions are subject to editing for content, space and clarity. Incomplete or illegible entries will be rejected.

The deadline for entries is 11 a.m. two days before publication. For Monday issues, the deadline is Friday at 11 a.m. “Today” runs on Mondays and Thursdays or when space permits.

Today on campus

The Vietnamese Student Association will meet at noon in Chantico, lower Aztec Center. For more information, call 594-3504.

The Asian Pacific Student Alliance will meet at noon in Aztec Center.

The Pre-Law Society will meet from 1 to 2 p.m. in Quetzalcoatl, lower Aztec Center.

The Aztec Recreation Center Information Fair will be from 5 to 6 p.m. in Casa Real, Aztec Center. Come and learn about on-campus job opportunities at the ARC.

The Student Environmental Action Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in Aztlan, Aztec Center.

Circle K International, a community service organization, will meet from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. in lower Aztec Center.
