A truck collided with two parked cars around 6 p.m. on Nov. 4 at the west end of Hardy Avenue near 55th Street.
A The Daily Aztec reporter witnessed a black Dodge Ram Night Runner fishtail on his way out of parking lot Q as it turned the corner onto Hardy Avenue across from the Gamma Zeta Alpha fraternity house. The driver seemed to lose control of the vehicle and sideswiped a Saturn Ion. The truck then collided against the back of an Acura Integra and became stuck.
Before a gathering crowd, the driver tried unsuccessfully to back his truck off the Acura. There was one passenger in the truck.
The owner of the Acura arrived shorty after the accident but declined to comment.
San Diego State University Police Department and San Diego Fire-Rescue responded. There were no injuries reported and a tow truck had been called to dislodge the truck, officials said.
