Giselle Morales (she/her/hers) is a staff writer for the Daily Aztec. She grew up in Gardena, California and attended El Camino Community College and Cal State Long Beach, before she transferred to San Diego State University. She served as the editor-in-chief and opinion editor for the El Camino College student-run news organization The Union. She realized her passion for writing in elementary school when she began to experiment with creative writing and poetry. Morales enjoys writing about music and film and hopes to pursue a career in entertainment journalism.
