Samuel Cozart, Senior Staff Reporter
From Denver, Colorado, Samuel Cozart is a third-year journalism student with a minor in international studies. He has been writing in the sports section of The Daily Aztec since January 2024, covering women’s basketball, baseball, women’s soccer, and hockey so far in his time at the DA. Cozart approaches his reporting with the goal of telling the entire story at SDSU. In his free time, Cozart enjoys travelling, watching movies, and cheering on his favorite Denver teams.
