The San Diego State Aztecs improved their record to 5-4 overall and 5-1 in the Mountain West after defeating the University of Hawaii Warriors 28-21 in overtime. Junior running back Adam Muema scored the game-winning touchdown on a 1-yard run, just the third play of the Aztecs’ overtime possession.
SDSU tied the game in the fourth quarter on a 14-yard touchdown run by senior fullback Chad Young.
