Crime on campus

Intoxication Incidents

On Nov. 24, six separate incidents involving alcohol occurred in or near the Viejas Arena. Two were released to the custody of friends and family and another man was transported to Sharp Hospital. The San Diego State Police Department was called to help remove an audience member who was later arrested. One woman was passed out in a bathroom and SDSUPD assisted the situation. The last report involving alcohol for the night was a man who appeared to be drunk near Parking Structure 4, but SDSUPD was unable to locate him.

Sorority Shakeup

At about 7 p.m. on Nov. 26, a burglary occurred at Gamma Zeta Alpha. An Apple Macbook was stolen; the burglar also attempted to steal a TV, but dropped it. The suspect is described as an black male about 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was wearing a red shirt and had an undistinguishable accent.

Foul Play Phone Call 

At 4:26 p.m. it was reported that a woman was making harassing phone calls to a man. She allegedly threatened him, saying she would send naked pictures of him to his friends if he did not pay her money. The call was made from Fraternity Row on 55th Street.

Burglary Bust

At 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 28 two burglars were caught and arrested at the Fowler Athletics Center on 55th Street. Both suspects were transported to county jail.
