Geography department iPads missing

At 10:25 a.m. on Jan. 22, three iPads were reported missing from the San Diego State geography department.  Information regarding suspects or possible location of the items is not known.

Phone thief caught at Starbucks

At 11:58 a.m. on Jan. 22, Fernando Velez, who is not an SDSU student, was arrested and taken to county jail for the theft of a wallet and cell phone. The theft occurred at Starbucks on College Ave.

Jeep stolen from PS 6

At 9:20 p.m. on Jan. 22, a 1990 black Jeep Wrangler was reported stolen. The vehicle was taken from Parking Structure 6, located on East Campus Drive. The vehicle is described as lifted with large tires and a large front bumper.

Domestic violence lands area man in jail

At 2:36 a.m. on Jan. 24, the SDSU Police Department investigated a case of domestic violence. The incident occurred at Albert’s College Apartments on 55th Street. Labrone Harris , a non-SDSU student was arrested and taken to county jail for “assault with great bodily harm,” according to the Jan. 24 crime media bulletin.
