A sexual assault was reported early Sunday morning to the San Diego State Police Department when the SDSU student assaulted visited Sharp Grossmont Hospital seeking treatment.
According to a Community Safety Alert sent out to students on Sunday, Nov. 23, the assault occurred between 10:30 p.m. on Saturday night and 2:30 a.m. on Sunday morning at the party on Hardy Avenue.
SDSUPD Capt. Josh Mays said alcohol was a factor.
“It’s not stranger rape; however, it is unclear at this time the extent of their relationship,” he added.
SDSU police is seeking information to identify the suspect, who is described as a white man with brown hair. The suspect, about 6 feet tall, was wearing dress slacks but no shirt.
