Hello gamers! I hope your semesters are going well so far.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, hopefully a few gaming tournaments and events will help alleviate some stress.

Here’s a round-up of what’s going on in the San Diego Area.

• Friday, Feb. 10: “Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3” singles tournament at the Microsoft store in Fashion Valley, held by Fanboy Gaming as a part of their weekly tournaments.
• Saturday, Feb. 11: “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” 4v4 team tournament at the Microsoft store in Fashion Valley, held by Fanboy Gaming.
• Friday, Feb.17: “Marvel vs. Capcom 2” at the Microsoft store in Fashion Valley held by Fanboy Gaming.
• Saturday, Feb. 18: “Halo CE Anniversary” 4v4 Team Tournament at the Microsoft store in Fashion Valley and it’s held (once again) by Fanboy Gaming.
• Saturday, Feb. 18: The Collegiate Starleague will hold their “LoL: Redux tournament,” which is (of course) a “League of Legends” tournament.
• Saturday Feb. 18: Lan Diego’s “Ring in the New Year” is being held at Ansir Inovation Center. This is a huge tournament featuring “Star Craft 2″ and “Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.” SDSU’s very own SDSU eSports club will be making an appearance.
• Sunday, Feb. 26: The Box Arena and The Traveling Circus are holding the “St. Valentine’s Day Massacre” “Ultimate Mavel vs. Capcom 3” tournament at Frubble in Santee.
• If you’re just looking to watch the action, try Barcraft. It’s is an excellent way to view various tournaments and expose one’s self to the gaming community. The next Barcraft will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11at Randy Jones All American Grill. Be sure to check out the respective websites of the tournament organizers for registration details.
