Accolades keep coming to San Diego State freshman forward Lori LaCoursiere. She has already been named to the All-Western Athletic Conference first team and selected WAC Freshman of the Year. And yesterday, she was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association/Umbro All-West first team.

The native of San Jose, Calif. had a record breaking season for SDSU, setting the single season mark for goals with 18, breaking Lynn Murray’s team record of 13. She also tied current teammate Stefanie Mathews’ team record for assists with 10.

LaCoursiere was not the only Aztec honored yesterday; sophomore defender Shellee Stucker was named to the NSCA/Umbro All-West second team.
