Authorities in Spain discovered the body of San Diego State exchange student Austin Bice Tuesday, more than a week after he went missing in Madrid. Bice, a Torrey Pines High School graduate and native of Carlsbad, had not been seen since he decided to walk home after he was turned away from a nightclub on Feb. 25.

His body was found in the Manzanares River, which runs through the western portion of the city. Though the official cause of death has yet to be determined, there are currently no signs of foul play.
