San Diego State officials announced on March 14 that students would be paying an additional $200 per semester to help hire more tenure-track professors and bolster class sections.
Both President Elliot Hirshman and California State University Chancellor Timothy White approved the Student Success Fee, which will begin to be rolled out next semester. Student will pay $50 extra per semester in the next four years until it reach $200 per semester.
