Students are having a hard time studying right now, mainly because visions of booze and beaches are dancing in their heads. That’s right, spring break is a mere week away.
For the clothing-concerned, that means bikini season is officially here. Since its debut in 1946, the bikini has gone through various shapes and sizes, but I would argue that swimsuits this season are the most unique and adventurous they’ve ever been.
Don’t limit yourself to a simple triangle top and tie-side bottoms. Try an edgy cage-style bikini top or high-waisted bottoms. Details such mesh inserts and tie-dye make bathing suits youthful and trendy.
Even one-piece swimsuits are having a moment. With plunging necklines, playful cutouts and flattering tailoring, the one-piece may replace the bikini as the sexiest beachwear.
Please don’t forget the No. 1 bikini accessory–sunscreen.
