Dressing for warmer weather should all be about ease, otherwise you’ll end up working up a sweat with complicated, constricting clothing. That’s why my favorite item for this summer is the jumpsuit.
Jumpsuits reached their heyday in the 1970s (hello, “American Hustle”), but they’ve fast-forwarded to the 21st century without the perms and disco platforms. The jumpsuits of today can be loose and casual with wide-legged pants and gladiator sandals, or sleek and chic with a skinny leg and simple heels.
Unique details such as mesh inserts, keyholes, low backs and cropped legs update the look and make it feel fresh.
Jumpsuits are also extremely versatile, coming in a range of colors, patterns and cuts. Just throw it on, grab a chunky necklace and go.
