Aztecs find success at San Diego Classic II
The San Diego State softball team won four out of five games in the San Diego Classic II last weekend to improve its record to 16-14.
SDSU defeated Harvard, Wisconsin, Ohio and Ohio State in the Classic. It lost to Louisville, 7-0, on Friday.
One of the top performers throughout the weekend was pitcher Bailey
Micetich. The junior pitched seven innings and gave up just four hits in a 6-0 victory against Wisconsin. She recorded eight strikeouts and picked up her ninth win of the season.
The Aztecs will take on Sacramento State and UC Riverside this Friday in Palo Alto looking to continue their two-game winning streak.
