Just south, near the second parking lot on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard, a 20-foot bluff overhangs a deep cove that fills during high tide. During low tide, the shoreline transforms to expose tide pools rich with life. Visitors can walk the reef and observe starfish, sea anemones and crabs in their natural states.
