Money matters
San Diego-based stocks Sony (SNE) and Qualcomm (QCOM) were up slightly at 20.43 and down about 1.5 percent at 52.85, respectively.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) has made a downward turn after climbing earlier in the week. The DJI was down 120 points at 11,792 and the NASDAQ and S&P 500 were both down by about 1 percent at 2,673 and 1,242, respectively as of yesterday morning.
The yield on the 10-year T-Note has dropped slightly, bringing it to 2.196 percent.
Gold has made a small overall increase of about .6 percent and was trading at $1,661 an ounce yesterday. Last week it was reported at approximately $1,642 an ounce.
