In a recent column by Jessica Napier (“Soldiers go AWOL with reason,” March 28), it was stated that Florida National Guard Capt. Tad Warfel said, “Tired of having a mind of your own? Join the military, we’ll do all the thinking for you.” This was Napier’s interpretation of Warfel’s comments to CBS News.
