Last weekend, San Diego State hosted its first annual SoCal Philosophy Conference. The two-day conference was student-run and featured two keynote speakers. University of California, San Diego philosophy professor David Brink spoke on Saturday and University of California, Los Angeles philosophy professor David Kaplan spoke on Sunday, according to the website.
A variety of speakers from other universities also presented at the event. Colleges such as the University of California, Riverside, the California Institute of Technology and California State Polytechnic University, Pomona attended, among others.
