Alina Ajaz (they/them), from the east Bay Area, California, is a first year student studying journalism. They love music, food, instagram (@alinaaajaz), and their dog. Alina loves covering music and film, especially local concerts in their area from smaller groups. Before coming to San Diego State University, Alina co-founded a zine with two friends and had the opportunity to interview and write about many Bay Area artists. They are excited to further their passion for journalism and collaborate with many creative and hard-working individuals!
