Emily Barrera, ’25-26 Multimedia Editor
Emily Barrera (she/her/hers) is a fourth-year journalism major with a minor in creative editing and publishing. Originally from Los Angeles, California, she transferred to SDSU in 2024 and joined The Daily Aztec. She has covered arts and culture, news and has been actively involved with the multimedia team. Barrera also serves at the Social Media Coordinator for the Society of Professional Journalists and is an initiated member of Chi Omega. After university, she hopes to pursue a career in broadcast.
